Employment Opportunity

We are currently seeking a part-time Director of Music Ministries and Organist.  The candidate is expected to play for three Sunday worship services (8:15, 9:30 & 11:00 AM) other special occasions such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve and Easter services.  This position will supervise / direct the contemporary musicians and traditional choir.  This position would also be expected to play for weddings, church funerals or memorial services conducted at Sudley as requested.  Persons applying should be musically literate, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in music, with a concentration in voice and / or conducting.  Candidate should posses a working knowledge of a variety of music styles, genre and repertoire with a willingness to try new things as appropriate for worship experiences.  More importantly, we are searching for a faith-filled individual who will be an integral part of fostering a lifelong commitment to Christ and will have an appreciation for being an integral part of our worship service.  Salary is commensurate with experience.  Please send your resume and a letter of interest to: Sudley United Methodist Church, P.O.
