UMC members have been providing Saturday Brunch Egg Casseroles for the residents of SERVE, the NVFS homeless shelter, for over 20 years. Six casseroles, delivered hot to the shelter on the second Saturday of each month, are a greatly appreciated change of pace for the clients.
Also since initiating the Sweatshirt Drive each fall, SUMC has contributed new sweatshirts to the children and adults who often arrive at the shelter with very few personal belongings.
